NOVA POSHTA – market leader in express delivery in Ukraine – has chosen EQUINOX sorting equipment for its new terminal in Dnipro city.
The companies signed the agreement for cooperation in May.
"The volume of our shipments is growing year by year. In 2020 alone we delivered more than 300 mln. shipments. In order to process such quantities and at the same time maintain high delivery speed, we invest in infrastructure. Currently, we have innovative sorting terminals in four Ukrainian cities, and this year we will launch the fifth terminal in Dnipro.
For sorting small parcels up to 2 kg, we decided to choose EQUINOX solution because it perfectly matched our needs: high-quality, compact, easy to implement and economical at the same time“, - says Aleksandr Bulba, CEO of NOVA POSHTA.
EQUINOX automated solution for processing small parcels includes two modular LR-sorters (stands for Left-Right sorter) with peripheral equipment, transportation conveyors and other innovative technologies. Each sorter can process up to 10 000 parcels per hour.
Thus, their implementation will significantly increase the productivity of the terminal, facilitate the work of staff and shorten the time the parcel is at the terminal. In addition, LR-sorters are designed with the expansion perspective, so if necessary, it will be possible to increase the number of sorting directions by simply installing additional modules.
EQUINOX plans to implement the equipment before the start of the high peak season, which in case of NOVA POSHTA traditionally takes place in late autumn-early winter.
