We were honored to participate in the "RETAIL 2024" conference, where we had the opportunity to present the latest trends and technologies for enhancing warehouse efficiency.

Andrius Junevičius, our Head of sales for the Baltic region, shared insights on what a modern and efficient warehouse should look like, how to achieve optimal performance, and the essential preparations needed before optimizing and automating processes.

During the presentation, Andrius highlighted several key elements of a modern warehouse:

• Comprehensive process control: from receiving to shipping, including inventory management and process optimization.
• Key features of WMS systems: flexibility, extensive functionality, integration with other systems, and good support service.
• Optimal performance: clear tasks, activity optimization, and real-time data exchange and monitoring to ensure maximum efficiency.

We discussed strategies for improving efficiency and the necessary homework before starting process automation:

• Cost/benefit analysis
• Identifying repetitive and time-consuming process parts
• Evaluating existing technologies
• Assessing potential risks and planning their management
• Evaluating the impact on employees
