Voice picking is manual order picking system with a relatively high productivity and accuracy. Operators are guided via voice through headset.
This allows operators to keep their hands free and fully concentrate on the picking process. To verify completed tasks, the operator gives commands into the microphone of the headset. These commands can include the pick location, the quantity of items picked, and more. Additional information for the picke can be displayed on the RF terminal screen. Typically, wrist terminals with an integrated laser multi-directional scanner are used.
